I usually get home from the golf course about
the same time she gets home from work. I generally have lunch in the
Men's Grill at the country club, so eating out again at night
is not reasonable. I'm ready for some home-cooking when I
hit that door.

She used to do the dishes as soon as we finished eating, but
now it's not unusual for them to sit on the table for several
hours after dinner. I do what I can by diplomatically
reminding her several times each evening that the dishes won't
clean themselves. I know she really appreciates this, as it
does seem to motivate her to get them done before she goes to
bed.

Another symptom of aging is complaining. For example, she will
say that it is difficult for her to find time to pay the
monthly bills during her lunch hour. But, boys, we take 'em
for better or worse, so I just smile and offer encouragement.
I tell her to stretch it out over two or even three days. That
way she won't have to rush so much. I also remind her that
missing lunch completely now and then wouldn't hurt her any
(if you know what I mean). I like to think that this is one of
my strong points.

When doing simple jobs, she seems to think she needs more rest
periods. She had to take a break when she was only half
finished mowing the yard. I try not to make a scene. I'm a fair
man. I tell her to fix herself a nice, big, cold glass of
freshly squeezed lemonade and just sit for a while. And, as
long as she is making one for herself, she may as well make one
for me, too.

I know that I probably look like a saint in the way I support
Bev, and I'm not saying that showing this much consideration is
easy. Nobody knows better than I do how frustrating women get
as they get older, but, guys, even if you just use a little more
tact and less criticism of your aging wife because of this
letter, I will consider that writing it was well worthwhile.
After all, we are put on this earth to help each other.

Signed,
Wayne

EDITOR'S NOTE:

Wayne died tragically on March 1st of a perforated rectum.
for the past week i have been all screwed up mentally and feeling it physically thankfully i have been able to push it away slightly today now that my thoughts are focused on the EI outbreak and trying to figure out how i can help.

because of this outbreak next years foaling season may not happen no doubt you would of heard about it on the news. El Costa De Lago is one who may be infected his cover charge is $220,000 per mare and serves up to 5 mares a day. so that is a huge loss for Coolmore Stud. something worse then that is our Diva is at Coolmore with her newborn colt and she was due to be served by De Lago in the coming weeks. i am just praying both she and her new colt are safe in the foaling stables/paddock and away from the stallions.

if this outbreak gets worse the Melbourne Cup and millions of dollars will be lost for this year not to mention the studs are going to loose much of what they need to operate. $220,000 does not just cover the stallion. but feed, stabling and vet checks for the year to make sure all is going well and if she is staying to be covered again by the stallion in the weeks after she has dropped her first foal.

having grown up on such a horse stud i know what they are going through and hope that you all join me in praying that these horses are well and the EI does not spread or kill any of them which would be a tradgedy in itself.

at the moment i would give anything to be able to drive down to Portarlington to the place i grew up and work my frustrations off. who knows maybe that is my problem i know i was much like this last year as well. dreaming about horses wishing i could go for a ride and watch the foals stand for the first time. there really is nothing better then that.

last nights nightmare - was in my mums car with my mum and sister going down a hill and next i knew we crashed into a river and the car sank my sister got out somehow probably through a window. my mum was stuck and running out of air i somehow managed to open her door and drag her out. i hate dreams like that afterwards i seemed to be walking home with some cute guy stoped at the showgrounds sat down and he was talking to 2 friends from memory he was a young cop. i stayed a few minutes got uncomfortable so left and walked the rest of the way home in the dark, soaking wet and i never feel safe in this area after dark anymore.

since nay wanted updates :P

house has been moved around a bit my main computer is back online seems that it only went on strike because when i hooked it back up again it worked after months of just sitting on the couch in the dining room Master brought me a wireless card for it but it wouldnt work properly where it was so now i'm nice and warm beside the heater. and can play warcraft again -
Jubei`Thos - Human Pally - spankmehardr 21
Night Elf Hunter - nikura 8
Nagrand - Blood Elf - kiana 21

Master has told the kids that he is leaving and they took it better then we expected i not long got home from a Melbourne excursion to spend more time with him since we hadnt done it in awhile. i now have a pritty dark blue and hot pink Wrangler t-shirt with a pink pony on it. and a white shirt with light pink writing down the side. Master also got me a new pair of heels for $15 they are silver, have an over strap so i dont feel like my foot will fall out and they feel very very tall at 4.5 inches which is very tall for me and they are pritty and will go well with the pritty corset all protectively hung in the wardrobe. gotta love DFO. then we ended up down at the water front and had some fish and chips on the pier near the Spirit of Tasmania which is HUGE and had a nice walk then went for a nice drive before having to come home so Master could go back to work. Turbo has been pritty well behaved its a wonder what food does he has only had about 15minutes of sleep in the car and i was practically asleep on the train home. so a relaxing night for me tonight as long as i get at least 2 of my chores done.

next weekend is my baby free weekend and Master is away on a scout camp with the kids so dont know what i will do yet any ideas let me know.

well call me nurse khyaa.

i took over my dog again since my mum just yells at him for scratching and doesnt bother to find out why. i found a large scab on his back leg and when i went to work on it fleas came out it was discusting anyway now we have a fluffy dog with a bare bum but it had to be done but the clippers worked well, then found some stuff to kill fleas and covered him with it made all the easier considering it didnt have hair to contend with on his ass where the infestation is the worst and put some frontline on him which mum forgot she had, so hopefully it will help. i'll be back on tuesday to check on him.

an interesting thing though he lay down so i could check him out without a fuss and when i was clipping him i let him settle where he wanted to be which happened to be in front of the gate so it made it hard for mum to get in and out but he lay there and let me do what i wanted. its the same with giving him a bath, i let him get settled and then i work with him my mum is the oposite she will fight with him to get him where she wants him and fight with him until she is done yet i get the job done better and he is relaxed the entire time i am working with him.

i am so hating the emotional rollercoaster ride that i am on lately. it has made me think that i dont belong anywhere and really i dont think i do. i just go from group to group, from person to person and dont really feel like i am wanted or that i fit in anywhere i am just everywhere and though i seem to have alot of friends i dont really see that i have many people i can actually talk to. Master of course is exempt from this because he always makes me feel like i belong and that i am wanted and that i can talk to of course though it only really works when he is here.

well today is the first day for my lite n easy meals. i just had lunch. it was smaller then i am used to which is GOOD! and it was yummy. cant wait for dinner tonight though i havent chosen which one i will have.

also my neighbour from over the back came over just before to tell me that my roof solar pannel has been leaking for the last 2-3 weeks. i did notice a sound going down the downpipe the other week when Master was out mowing the lawn but didnt think it was anything to worry about. she told me she had rang housing but obviously nothing happened and she has been trying to get my attention but hadnt seen me or i her etc, anyway i called maintanance and they said they would send someone out to see what was going on in the next 7 days. so nice of them isnt it while my money is litterally going down the drain.
